Gary Johnson founded the Great American Sign Company in 1990. Gary is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he received a bachelor's degree in communications. After college, Gary spent two years in Advertising in New York City. Later moving back to NJ, he found his calling as an art director for a full service sign company in Hillside, NJ. In 1990, Gary went out on his own and 15 years later is still doing work for his very first customer, the Federal General Services Administration.
Gary is a hands-on manager, personally meeting with all clientele. He enjoys the personal interaction and satisfaction of seeing a project through from start to finish. Each and every time you call, you will be working with the owner. As the relationship continues, he often becomes equally familiar with the clients' facilities, making the process even easier for the customer as time goes on.
